Couple forming a bond with their unborn baby through Prenatal Bonding

PRENATAL BONDING (BA)

Pregnancy is a time of transformation, a moment to nurture the incredible connection between you and your baby.

Prenatal Bonding (BA) is a facilitation process inviting mothers and fathers to form a deep bond with their unborn baby. The approach encourages natural instincts and creates a foundation of love and trust even before birth. Nurturing the intention to communicate intuitively with your baby, and offering regular support right up to birth helps empower you to navigate pregnancy, birth, and beyond, with greater confidence. Consider this an invitation to pause, listen with care, and help shape a beginning that could change everything.

Over the course of the journey, you learn to settle the body’s stress responses, quieten the surge of hormones, and move into a steadier rhythm; old inherited patterns slowly lose their hold, making space for a healthier emotional inheritance.

Perental Bonding West Berkshire and London

There’s a chance to sense your baby’s presence, nature, and needs long before meeting face to face. The body, mind, and heart are readied for a birth that feels both gentle and powerful. In the process, the roots are planted for a lifelong bond, grounded in trust and love.

The facilitation process is in 4 parts:

Getting to
Know You and
Your Story

This is a chance to explore your personal history, experiences, and hopes. Ideally, this begins between 15 and 22 weeks of pregnancy, though an earlier start - particularly in high-risk pregnancies - or a later one can be arranged if needed. 3 to 5 weekly sessions.

1

Baby Sessions:
Building the Connection

Over ten weekly sessions of around 45 to 50 minutes, you are gently guided to connect with the baby through deep relaxation and meditation. These sessions usually run between weeks 24 and 36 of pregnancy.

2

Separation Sessions: Preparing for Birth and Beyond

This stage focuses on readying you and your baby for labour, birth, and the life that follows. There are nine or ten sessions, usually every other day, held between weeks 36 and 38 of pregnancy.

3

Reflection
and
Review

After the birth, follow-up sessions give you space to reflect on your birthing experience, recovery, and the early days of life as a family. These are held at 1 month postpartum, and again at 6 months.
